Sorry we haven't had anything in the last few weeks. While I'm taking care of some work issues, I thought I'd put up an episode from my old feed. Hopefully the new listeners will like it and the old listeners enjoy the look back. In this episode I talk to Peter Ames Carlin. It's an interview I did a few years ago when he was promoting his Paul McCartney biography. It turned out to be a very insightful interview and one of my favorite ones. For this episode I traveled to St. Augustine Beach, Fl where Denny Laine, Terry Sylvester and the Cryers gave a great show on the pier. I interviewed Denny Laine and the Cryers out on the beach right before their amazing concert. This was one of my favorite episodes to put together and a highlight in the eight years I've done this show. Topis discussed include.. * Denny Laine's thoughts on the campaign to get Wings into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They will shock you! * Denny's thoughts on the Wingspan film and the possibility of working with Paul again. * The Cryers talk about how social media has changed things for unsigned bands and how they approach complicated songs like "Fixing a Hole". Along with much more! The songs played in this episode are... Time to Hide by Denny Laine Go Now by Denny Laine Rock and Roll Holiday by The Cryers Light by The Cryers Band on the Run by Denny Laine Please e-mail me at bertonebeatle@gmail.com for feedback.
